空気を、香りのように整える。スパークプラグで世界No.1クラスのセラミックス技術と、自動車部品事業で培ったガスセンサ技術を融合させた空間除菌脱臭機。独自開発のセラミック製プラズマリアクタが生み出すプラズマオゾンを空間に拡散させ、浮遊する菌・ウイルス・臭気に直接作用します。センサによってオゾン濃度を高精度に制御することで、自然界に近い低濃度での安心・安全な運転を実現。香炉やランプシェードを思わせる円筒形の静かな佇まいは、住まいから店舗、動物病院や介護施設まで、どんな空間にも違和感なく溶け込みます。JIDAデザインミュージアムセレクション vol.25 選定。
Conditioning the air as gently as a fragrance. “Sumikaze” is an air sterilizing and deodorizing device that merges Niterra’s world-leading ceramics technology, born from spark plugs, with the gas-sensor technology cultivated in its automotive components business. A proprietary ceramic plasma reactor generates plasma ozone that is diffused through the room, acting directly on airborne bacteria, viruses, and odors. Sensors control the ozone concentration with high precision, keeping it at a safe, naturally low level. Its quiet cylindrical form — reminiscent of an incense burner or a lampshade — blends naturally into homes, shops, animal hospitals, and care facilities alike. Selected for the JIDA Design Museum Selection vol.25.
